if she is going to be a first time grandma?

i know the baby won't be born yet- but i want to get her something special- she has been so great, is so excited, threw a wonderful shower, etc.

I thought about I Love Nana stuff, but I want to wait until we know what we are having.

any ideas?

I'm getting her a 2nd granddaughter! LOL I'm due on Mother's Day. Other than that, nothing! I don't have the time or energy to think about that right now. She doesn't expect it either.

Hey, good idea. I think I'll get her something from the baby, much easier than getting her something from me! Probably a bib and a sleeper that say "I love grandma" or something. Thanks!

I actually got a onesie that says, "That's IT! I'm going to Grandma's!" It's really cute. But as far as anything else goes, I'm getting my mom things for her to garden with. Never really thought about getting anything specific for the Grandparents.

I think I'm going to get her a pendant with all three of our birthstones. Have to wait until the baby's born though to see what it will be.

I got mine that recordable photo album from hallmark. And we go for an u/s on May 5th, so we are going to record his HB as the recording.

I saw some pretty cute little picture frames at Hallmark this weekend... They had mother and grandmother ones... Might get something from there... I am due two days after Mother's Day- so if I have had the baby or not will determine what I get her. Probably something from me...and then her B-day is May 18th..and I will get her something "from the baby" for that...

I got my mom the grandma willow tree figurine. I might pick up a grandma onesie or bib for the baby and tell her its a mother's day gift also.

One of other ideas was a necklace with July's birthstone.
