OB referral

Hello Ladies,

Hi! I am new to this board...my DH just took a job in MIami and we will be relocating from NJ in a couple of weeks. I am 16 wks pg with twins (our first babies). ?We are looking to move to the Weston/FLL area and are completely new to the area ie: no family or friends in FL. I am turning to you for some advice on an ob/gyn & hospital referral in the area. You can e-mail me if you don't want to post here at: thegraybabies at gmail dot com?

    Welcome :)  Congrats on the twins!!

    I don't have a referral for you b/c my OB is in South Miami which is pretty far from where you're looking to move to.  But I know a lot of girls on here live up there and should have some good names for you!!

    wow, congrats on the twins!! I live north of Weston so I am not much help with an OB rec but if you stick around on this board you will make lots of friends.... we are a friendly bunch!! you are welcome to come to our get togethers when you move down here!!

    I'm a HUGE fan of Dr. Kompal Gadh. She was in practice with a few other doctors from All Womens Health of South Florida, but she just recently opened her own practice. She's in Pembroke Pines, but she still may have an office in Weston. She's amazing, super nice! GL!

    Hi! Welcome!

    I love my OBGYN. He is not in Weston but he is like 10 min away (in Pembroke Pines. His name is Dr. Emil Abdalla and he is the only male Dr at his office. All the other DRs are women and they are also great! (especiallly Dr. Garzon). Anyways, he is great! (and good looking, there i said it, LOL   ;)

    He deliveres at memorial west hospital (his office is located at the hospital), which is a great hospital that only has private rooms.

    Also, his wife (who is also great) is an GYN that specializes in fertility issues. She was the one that recommended him to us. I went to her because we could not get pregnant and once we were pregnant we switch to her husband. His phone number is (954)431-1211

    I go to the same practice as karukaru but I see Dr. Garzon. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her! She had me induced when the day of my 39w appointment and she wasn't on call at my hospital the next day but since I ended up in a c-section she came over from the other hospital to come do the surgery since I was her patient. That meant a lot to me!

    It sounds like you got a couple of great referrals in your area! ?We live in Miami Shores and my OB is at Mount Sinai. ?If you plan to live a little closer to Miami, then I refer Dr. Mauricio Bitran and Dr. Franz Rivera. ?They are GREAT! ?If you need any additional information, just let me know!
