Christmas Due Date

Hello,

I am new here and I wanted to introduce myself.  I am 32, my husband is 38 and we have been married 11 months.  I found out I was pregnant on Saturday by peeing on a stick for the fun of it and was pleasantly surprised.  I am 4 weeks and 4 days and had my first appt this morning.  I was quite surprised they wanted me in so quickly, but it was nice to be able to ask a lot of questions.   

 I was wondering if anyone else has a Dec 25th due date?

    Congrats!

    I don't have a December 25th due date, but my DD was born on Christmas.  It makes the holidays even more special for us.  :)

    I am not due in November but wanted to share a little story with you. I know this is not what you want to hear. I was due on Christmas Day and was actually born on Jan 13th, I hope your baby isn't as stubborn as I was. Smile

    My due date is December 20th, but my birthday is December 25th. It has always been interesting having a Christmas birthday and the coolest thing about it is just having a birthday on Christmas. Comments like," Hey, you and Jesus share a birthday" and "Hey, do you like having your birthday on Christmas?", have gotten quite annoying over the years. Jesus and I are homies, but having a birthday on Christmas is the only thing I have ever known so if I don't like it I had better just get over it, right? Anyway, words to the wise for you; Don't wrap your child's birthday present in Christmas paper (this makes it a Christmas present), Don't force your child to celebrate their birthday in June, so that it makes it "easier" for them (it's more fun to celebrate their real birthday) and just once in their life throw them a party on Christmas Day (with friends and everything)- people will show up to the party. Also, my parents always made sure I had a birthday present from Santa Claus, that was pretty cool, nobody else that I knew got a birthday present from Santa Claus.

    I'm due on Christmas Day, at least according to when I ovulated. Abinormal, you have some good ideas for making the birthday part special. :)

    Thanks for the tips.  :)  We do most of them already (we're going to let DD choose how to celebrate when she's a bit older), but I love the idea of a birthday present from Santa.

    For the moment I'm also due on Christmas! We'll see what happens when I get some official dating since mine may be off due to my whacko bfp cycle.

    You know I really hope that my baby is 5 days late and is born on Christmas. Even though my bday  is the same day it would be cool to share it with my baby. It's my secret little hope!
