She slept ok in the bassinette at the hospital. Bassinette at home, no way. Was so tired, we just started co-sleeping at first. I had every intention of having her sleep in the bassinette/crib from the start. So now Natalie is 2 weeks from her 1st birthday, and we are still sleeping together. Which is not normally a problem, but someday I would like to sleep with DH again. She really is not having any part of that dream.
I have tried CIO, which just ends up with either me or DH going in and getting a hysterical DD after 15 mins or more of crying with no end in sight. I have tried putting her down in the crib after she is already asleep. The second I put her down, she woke up and went ballistic. She won't go down with a bottle in the crib. I have tried putting a blanket or t-shirt underneath her that smells like us. I have tried the stupid womb-sound bear. Nothing works.
Anyone have any more suggestions? Should I try to convert the crib to her toddler bed now?
