We have cameras in the libraries at our schools for different reasons.  I crack up everytime so-and-so goes in there to tell a student they have to get rid of their food or drink. 

there are signs all over the place that say No Food or Drink in the Library. 

Maybe I'm just a terrible mean person, but I chalk it up to great entertainment.

    ha! But seriously, not even a coffee in the library? We had a coffee shop in the library in college.

    Our schools are small, so our libraries are small.  There is enough room for about 30 PCs, maybe 10 tables with chairs, a copy machine and some shelves against the wall for resource books. 

    The staff at this particular one is tired of cleaning up after the students.  Which  I agree, they shouldn't have to do.
