And you know they crapped their diaper, do you wake them up to change it?  She's been farting like mad, and I know there's something in there!

    yes, i would change her.  you don't want that poop sitting in there and giving her a sore bottom.

    Yeah, sometimes she does fool me, but I don't think it's a false alarm this time.  As funny as this sounds, she has a distinctive 'I crapped my pants' fart!

    Nope.  They'll wake up their own if or when they're uncomfortable.  It might be a false alarm, and I'd hate to disturb that precious sleep.

    When DS was about 4 weeks old, he pooped right as I was putting him down for a nap.  He was dead asleep, and I didn't have the heart to wake him up.  So he napped as he normally did and I changed him when he woke up.  He was perfectly happy with that.
