Who else is just waiting on DH to agree to a name?

I have picked out so many names, even names that I would never have named my child before that have kinda grown on me.  DH turns down every one.  With our DD he waited til the last minute to agree to one so I'm guessing if I hold back on one he'll agree to it at the end.  Wouldn't it be easier if DH didn't care?

    My DF is the SAME way- with DS it was almost 2 weeks before he was here and he FINALLY decided on Alek. This time around I pick the boy name reguardless and we have to agree on the girl's. So- that's where we're at. Good Luck-

    It seems like I'm the one throwing out all the suggestions and DH is lukewarm at best.  It didn't help that he refused to talk names until after the big u/s.  His logic was that our name list would be cut in half then and it would be easier.  He's being a little less difficult now!

    We are inducing in 2 days, and we STILL have not agreed on a middle name. We found the name about a week ago and I'm not in love with it, but it's all we could agree on, so I am hoping it will stick once I see the baby. As far as the MN, DH wants to wait and see Ds before we decide. Oh well....

    Im waiting on DH to commit to the girl name we have. We are only about 80% sure it's a girl, but have 2 more ultrasounds in May. After those we hope to know for sure. He says he is affraid it will grow a penis and we'll have to start all over...

    I definitely hear you. My favorite is when I suggest a name that DH immediately turns down and dislikes. THEN, at a later time, he suggests the exact same name!!!!! This has happened 2-3 times now.

    This actually happened with a few names that are now at the top of our list.... only because I pretend they are now his ideas.

    It would be easier if they didn't care. I say have your top picks, and if he can never suggest anything better, go with what you have. 

     I think it may just be that most men aren't very good namers, but they think they are, or wish they were, so they turn down our suggestions in hopes that they'll have an epiphany.

    I am!  We are stuck on 2 sets of names.  I want to have them all picked out, but he just can't decide!  I'm thinking it's giong to be a hosptial decision.  We might just wait until the babies come to decide.
