I really love the name Caroline, but I have a cousin named Caralynn, and she gets mistakened for Caroline all of the time, so that may happen in the case of Caroline, being thought of as Carolyn. Might get annoying for you and the baby.

If we have a girl, her name will be Caroline. Dh really loved it and I didn't even need to convince him which was nice! I don't know any Carolines. It's a classic name that will be around forever.?

i usually hate common, popular names but for some reason i just love caroline! i know several girls named this but i still think it's very pretty and classic.

I think it was in the 90's on the list.

I LOVE the name... it was the only girl name that DH and I agreed on for our first baby. We named her Caroline Reese. I think it is classic, and she has only been called Carolyn a few times - nothing that has made me mad...

Plus, it is really cute when they learn to say their name...she says Care-lo-line... haha...

that is exactly the name i'm trying to talk my dh into. as long as you don't mind that she'll have a very popular song sung to her all the time as she gets older! LOL!

bottom line, i ADORE this name! i would use the nn carly for her if he agrees to the name....
