  Jack is one of our top choices also!  His middle name will be Douglas after my Dad.

  I would put something with at least 2 syllables with it since Jack is so short, but that's just me...maybe Alexander, Michael, Hayden....

  i agree with going with a name with at least 2 syllables.  we are thinking about using John as a first name (after my dad) and might use Preston as a middle name.  i like the different middle name with a simpler first name.

  My last name also starts with Mc and we are naming our son Jack Robert. BOth of our fathers are robert so it was a given but I love it!

  I know that I'm really late on this so you may not see it.  Our pick for a boy (whenever we have one) is Jack too (I'm Jill & my dad is Jack - keeping tradition).  The pick for a MN to go with it is Thomas.
