That will be the middle name if I have a son, but it's because that is my Maiden name and I am the last generation with it, so it's kinda to carry it on. But I have noticed that name becoming really popular.

I dont know if this may be why, but there is a character named Jackson on "Hannah Montana" and I didnt start hearing that name much until after that show.

i think it's waned a bit, but when i worked at an elementary school (2004-2007) there were about 10 jacksons?

I'm a third grade teacher and there is only one Jackson in our grade...there are quite a few Jacks in the building that I know about, not sure how many of them are short for Jackson.

I think it's rather popular. Although, I know of more plain Jack's than Jackson's. Love both names nontheless

I know of four of them under the age five. BF wanted to use this if we were having a boy (after his grandpa) and I vetoed because it seems to be ridiculously popular.
