Since this is my first month charting I am still confused on how it all works. From what I have read online and on FF one temp drop may not mean anything but arent my temps supposed to stay above coverline if I'm pg?
If you're 5DPO that drop prob doesn't mean anything, usually only one temp means nothing by itself. ?The coverline really doesn't mean anything, it's just a visual aid. ?Give it a few more days, and try not to worry too much about just one temp, or you'll drive yourself crazy like me. ?
If you have VIP, you can search charts like yours...even w/o you can browse charts w/post O temps below the coverline. ?That might help you understand. ?GL.?
At 5 dpo, you can't actually know if you're pregnant, if you will become pregnant within the next few days, or if you won't become pregnant this cycle. ?Believe FF when it says that one temp is nothing to worry about.
it's best not to analyze every single temp, especially is this is your first cycle. Don't worry about it. 5 dpo is kinda early for an implantation dip, but more often then not, on the charts I look at, including my own, a temp dip means nothing in the 2ww. if it stays down there's a chance you didn't ovulate, it's hard to say without looking at your chart. but the best advice, do not analyze every temp.
usually if your temp starts falling towards the end of your lp that means you're not pg.
Take a look at my chart, I feel like it's all over the place. I think everyone is different and as others have said, you have to look at the whole picture versus just one temp. Although that is easier said than done. I feel like every day I analyze my temperature. Good luck to you!
Thanks for asking this. My temp dropped to right above the coverline today. I am 4DPO. I couldn't tell if it was a bad thing, or if it just because I woke up and had to temp earlier. I really appreciate the responses, and will continue to wait patiently.
