Pain in right side

in 2nd Trimester
I am 24 wks along  I can feel the baby move.  This morning I woke up with a sharp pain next to what I think is my right ovary.  It hasn't gone away.  This has been an hour or two now.  I don't have any spotting or crapping though.  Any thoughts.  I have to wait until my doctor's in to call.  It hurts really bad and I don't know if this is a normal thing.

    I'm only 16 weeks along, but I get sharp pains in my right side too and I've been told it's ligament pain.?

    Sounds like round ligament pain to me.

    Probably RLP but talk to your Dr.  I was woken up once with what felt like a knife piercing my right side, but it totally went away after about an hour.  So you may have just moved more severe, I'm sure nothing to worry about.

    Concur with the PPs. Between 16-25 weeks the RLPs can be brutal.

    I got round ligament pain like that between 18-22 weeks.  It was definitely a sharp pain but I mostly got it on my left side lol.  Anyway, if you're really bothered by it, call your doc.  It couldn't hurt.  :)

    Thanks for the advice.  I asked a co-worker and she said the same thing.
