If they told me that I'd say have fun with your induction, I wont be there!! And then I'd pray I went into labor on Sunday, LOL.
The moment a child is born,
the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.
Messed up.. yes, it would be nice to deliver on a Thursday or Friday this summer because DH will be teaching M-R so he wouldn't have to cancel too much class, but if the baby wants to come on a Monday, that's when the baby comes.
Sorry, I just don't understand induction unless it's for safety's sake and there is a valid medical reason.
edit: one of her responses is: "Oh and They are going to induce me early so I will have a thanksgiving baby. My induction date is 11/27/09"
Well, I suppose I shouldn't tell her about MW's failed induction? Or my sister's nearly 4-day long induction/delivery? Sure hope her body is ready to deliver and does it on a timetable. If it's THAT important, might as well schedule the c-section. What if she goes early?

My question is the same as chrys'...why would she be induced and why would they have already planned it?? weird.

I do not care for her.
I'm not necessarily against inductions [circumstances are different for everyone], but she is just ridiculous.
As is the coworker who is doing it for pure convenience.
