  I just think "pad" when I hear Maxie.  Although, I do think there is a cute, sassy Maxie on General Hospital.

  I have a distant cousin named Maxie, and she turned out huge, like 6 feet tall and 250 lbs, so I wouldn't name my kid it. Seems prophetic.

  Also reminds me of maxi pad.  If I were given that name I would be jealous of my sister who got a beautiful name like Isabella and all I got was Maxie.

  I love Maxine, but not Maxie. I knew a Max in high school and people teased him (in a joking way) about Maxi Pad. He was cute and popular so it was all in good humor.?
