  I think I've successfully transitioned to 3 pumps / day. It took a few weeks, but I was ok this weekend and it was SO NICE to sleep until 6 before getting up to pump. Unfortunately that doesn't translate over to weekday mornings, but I'll take what I can get!

  blah another full week of pumping and dumping. i would cry if i added up the amount i have dumped. I am having surgery on Wednesday so hopefully it will all be over then.

  only thing that has kept me pumping is she has never been sick.

  hard to believe she is going to be 11 months on saturday. NUTS!

  Hey ladies!  I'll still be checking in for a couple of weeks it looks like.  I just got down to 2 pumps per day, and I think it is going to take at least 2 weeks to get rid of those.  I hope to be done in 2 weeks, but we'll see.  It took me almost four weeks to get from 3 pumps down to 2 - my extreme producers just wouldn't cooperate!!  I'm still getting about 24 ounces per day with just these 2 pumps!  So it looks like I will at least hit the 5 month mark for pumping, which still blows my mind.

  HI!  This is my first time posting here.  I just made it to 6 months and I almost can't believe it.  I feel such a sense of accomplishment and at the same time, i still want to toss my pump out the window.  ANyone else with me on that??  I'm down to 4 pumps a day and it's working just fine but i still wish i could take a day off and not think about it!  but i'm thrilled to have made it this far.  I'm not sure when i'll stop.  I don't have a huge freezer stash at all and i'd like to go at least a few more months.  We'll see!

  Sorry, I don't know anything about the other ladies.

  Things are okay. My pump is starting to crap out, so I'm planning to rent a hospital one for a month and only use mine while I'm at work. I'm very thankful that I am still making milk so K can have breastmilk as long as possible.

  I have a good freezer supply (a few hundred oz), and I have this fear of our electricity going out and me losing it all...random, but just wanted to share.

  I really can't believe I made it to 6 months.  It is so weird to think I have been pumping every.single.day for half a year.  It is exciting yet overwhelming at the same time!

  Pumping is going good but I'm just looking forward to being done at this point.  My next mini-goal is 9 months but I am planning on going to a year.  Although I do have days where I dream of quitting.

  Oh and I wouldn't mind doing the checkins, as I should be around for awhile, but I don't know if it would be better for someone who hasn't gotten to 6 months.

  I am doing good.  I will celebrate 8 months on Thursday.  I am concerned about pumping in a week and a half when we have to go to CA for a wedding.  DD will stay with the grandparents. We have a few hour layover where i can pump in a bathroom.  I will be bringing my battery pack which i've never used.  I will have to pump and dump all weekend because there is no way i can bring back all of the BM.  We leave on a Thursday afternoon and come back on a Monday night.  DH has volunteered to dump the BM since I can't bring myself to do that.

  I have been pumping for almost 5 months. And I am down to 2 pumps/day. I am going to hang up the horns this weekend (as long as I am not to uncomfotable!). It is a bitter sweet thing. I am happy to be done and be able to spend that extra time with my baby but sad about not being able to give her breastmilk. I have about 500 oz. frozen so she will get it until about 6 months.   hey there, you can bump me to the next group. I've been pumping for Jacob for 6 mos and some change.

  I am so ready to quit. Which is funny because I believe my last post was how content I was and how pumping wasn't a big deal anymore blah blah blah. I dropped to 4 pumps and my supply is dipping. I'm having a hard time disciplining myself back to 5 pumps. I just don't want to anymore. But I will.

  Still pumping away.  We had to buy a deep freezer this weekend because I had so much milk in the refrigerator freezer, it kept falling out.

  I am aiming for 6 months and then we'll see from there.  Because I have such a huge stash at this point I will have to figure out when I can stop.  I am pumping 6 times a day and getting more than double what DS is eating at this point.  As he starts to eat more, we'll see.  M goal is to have him on BM for a year

  I would like to be added to the list. I have been EP for 3 days due to my son, Matteo, weight loss and jaundice.  He had to be readmitted to the hospital.  I am using a SNS and pumping every 3 hours.  It is so hard and I am hoping to transition to breast feeding - once he gains his weight back and his jaundice goes away.  He has some serious latch issues though.
