Costco's Kirkland brand "natural" detergent and a few other ?'s

Has anyone used this on their CD's?

I have the Allen's detergent which I heard was good for CD but my dipes still stink after stripping them a gazillion times. They started to smell in conjunction with switching to Allens...not sure if it's related or not but I got the Kirkland brand yesterday for my regular laundry and figured that maybe I should try switching my wash routine up a bit? Any advice?

Oh, i've also read a few places that original Tide works well with CD's? Anyone???

Re: Costco's Kirkland brand "natural" detergent and a few other ?'s

  • I haven't used Kirklands but having an appliance repairman for a DH, I know that the Kirkland brand is generally REALLY sudsing.  For that reason, I don't think I'd consider it for CDs unless you were going to use an eye-dropper.

Tide is a very harsh detergent and while it may get things clean, I think your LOs bum might be really sensitive to it...

  • good to know! Thanks for the info...Em's bum is definitely a sensitive little area. Any slight change and it seems to irritate her little skin. Poor thing!
