while I love old fashioned names, this one just doesn't work for me. sorry.
TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages.
Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011.
I think it's more important that it is an adult name...Henrys and Maxs were always adult names, but make adorbale kid names...I say if you love it go for it! I think I can see a toddler named Hector!
The brother of one of my dd's classmate's is Hector. At first I kind of balked. But the kid is cute and I really like the mom (British) and, well, I still don't love it, but I don't really object any more.
Sorry, I usually like old fashioned names, but I don't really like Hector. For some reason, it sort of reminds me of Hannibal Lecter (sounds like a combo of the two names).
It does sound like a handsome grown man, though. Isn't there a Hector on a popular soap opera?
Re: Hector
Mom, why are you washing my feed in the sink?!
