Framboise and Guinness

My favorite drink!!! I went out on my due date and bought a bottle of Framboise (raspberry beer) and Guiness to have as my first celebratory drink. You first pour the framboise half way up in a pint glass and then layer the Guiness on top of that. It is called a BonBon and it tastes so yummy. Almost like a chocolate covered raspberry. Maybe this drink alone is the reason why I am so impatient for the baby to get here! LOL

    Have you ever tried guiness with Black Currant Liquor?  It's called a snake bite black, and so yummy!  Same priciple, the sweet liquor takes some of the bitterness off the guiness.

    Well, I hate beer so that sounds kinda gross to me - but I want a margarita so bad I can almost taste it! With LOTS of salt!  So I know how you feel.  :)

    sounds good, I have a bottle of my favorite wine already sitting in the fridge for me to take with to the hospital (they encourage it! as a celebratory thing) and I cannot wait!

    when I was stationed in England, we drank half cider, half lager with black currant and that was called a snake bite black.  it was AMAZING.

    Sounds like a waste of a good guiness to me....just kidding :)

    I miss guiness so much. I was in Ireland during my 2nd tri and we went to the guiness factory (or whatever they call it-storehouse). I decided I would have 1 while I was there, but only got through half of it - I felt too guilty.

    I am looking forward to this baby coming so I can actually enjoy one. I've also heard an old wives tale that is helps your milk come in. I don't know if it's true, but it sounds good to me!

    I LOVE Framboise, but hate Guiness.  But I pretty much hate all beer.

    I love Guinness and Cider ... but this this sounds heavenly, I have some Guiness at the house,  think I will have to get a couple Framboises in the fridge to be cold and waiting.
