Fisher Price Rainforest Collection

Has anyone else gone with this for some of their baby items? I am looking into getting the swing, the jumper, the seat, and the high chair. They have very high ratings (some of the best I have seen) and are gender nutral so I can reuse them for future children.

What are your picks/experiences?

They discontinued it. My niece is almost two and had the whole collection when she was an infant. They brough it out when my sister was pregnant. The pack n play got discontinued because there was something wrong with the sides. My sister just got a $100.00 check from fisher price because of it.

I registered for the jumper and have heard nothing but great things about it! I look at pictures on facebook of all my friends/family's children and I swear I see it in every picture now!!! Curious to see what others say too!

From what I understand that collection is being discontinued and replaced with the Precious Planet collection. I was able to get the Rainforest swing for 50% off because of this.

So even though I am not quite in 2nd tri I wanted to tell you that we bought the rainforest collection for my 1st child and she absolutely loved them. The music was great, the colors were great (esp. if I have a boy this time), very durable and easy to wash. I cannot say enough good things about the Jumperoo, my daughter was enamored with this thing. She would be soooo happy and entertained by it.

The swing has a plug-in option so it'd be nice for saving on batteries!

We have some of it from DD (swing, jumperoo and high chair). Its been discontinued and is being replaced by the Precious planet stuff, which is essentially the same thing.

The one thing I liked about the Rainforest swing is that it plugs in, which the Precious Planet swing does not.

I was bummed that they were discontinuing the Rainforest collection, because I wanted to register for it, but I saw the precious planet collecting at BRU on Sunday and it is really cute! ?We registered for the bouncer and jumper.

We really liked the rainforest stuff and bought (used) the bouncer and swing. Target still carries the bath set, and we have that on our registry, but most of the items are harder to find since the line is being phased out and replaced with Precious Planet (which is also cute!)

I was really upset about it at first, too. ?You CAN buy the items on various websites (at a discount), but if you want to register for them at Target or BRU that isn't going to happen. ? If you really want those items to be on your registry, then I suggest the Precious Planet items.?

We have the swing, bouncer, high chair and car mirror and have never had any problems with them. If you can get the items on clearance since it is being discontinued, grab them up!
