I took a phernergan before bed last night and about an hour later, FI said I looked drunk and wasn't making a whole lot of sense. It makes me very loopy.
I am still nauseated but, didn't do any actual vomiting this morning. I can't take it during the day, which really sucks. My mouth is all watery like I want to throw up and I'm dry-heaving.
Re: Oh..and in regards to my morning sickness
That really sucks
Nausea is the worst!

Did you eat a big breakfast today? Or a Heavy Breakfast?
Honestly that happens to me when I eat too much in the morning.
SBLAY, I hope I dont follow in your footsteps and keep this up. My nausea hasnt toned down one bit. Did you try Zofran and not like it? I did very badly on the phernergan, as it gave me massive headaches and just knocked me out. It made me just dry heave, and be unable to throw up even though I wanted to. It was strange. Zofran is amazing though, if expensive. Only bad part if is makes you even more constipated.
I'm with another poster and hoping that 40 weeks of morning sickness will equal an easy L&D.

I vomited hard enough this morning that you can probably take credit for it if you want -- actually, I'm surprised you didn't hear me all the way down there in Alabama!
Is that wrong that that's one of the things I'm looking forward to most about having this baby, is that the vomiting will (hopefully) stop?
I've tried Zofran and Reglan, neither worked for me. Well, Zofran helped but the side effects..I couldn't handle.
I ate a cup of oatmeal and 2 pieces of toast this morning. The amount of food I eat doesn't matter, I still puke regardless.
I'm terrified Dillon is going to be late, they only gave me 30 days worth of pills and my insurance didn't even cover it. Maybe I can just live in the ER. Whatever they hooked me up to Saturday had me feeling good.
I have had stomach issues in the past month, etc. I think on average I feel sick 3-4 days a week, and the rest of the time I am eating toast, saltines and water.
My doctor hasn't given me any meds for it, and I really need to eat some normal foods! I will talk to him about it again today.
I hope you are able to find some relief!
I had the SAME problem with phenergan! It knocked me for a loop so bad-but unfortunately for me it didn't work. So I felt like I had taken 3 sleeping pills and was still dry heaving at the toilet. Not fun! And it gave me the runs. Oh joy!
Fortunately for me the zofran keeps the vomitting down to about once or twice a day. Guess I'm lucky there!
