Water for making formula

I have been using boiled filtered water to make bottles, but I was over at my friends at the weekend and she was using water straight from the faucet! ?what type water do you use to mix formula? ?

I used to do the same but now I just use the faucet water. If I drink it then it is good enough for her to drink. Plus our water really is pretty clean.

We use water from our Brita pitcher. ?We keep it out on the counter so it's room temp though.

Filtered tap water usually, and bottled when we travel---but he did have bottles made with hotel tap water last week. He lived. I've never in my life boiled his formula water.?

Tap water. As long as the water is fine where you live it isn't a problem.

We have a filtered water spigot on our icebox door so that's what we use. ?I have used tap water before though. ?At my parents' house I have to either boil and filter b/c they have a well or bring bottled water.

DS is bf'd, but on the rare occasion that he has gotten formula, I have always used tap water. That is what we drink so I figure that it is fine for my kids as well.
