Should you wake a sleeping kitten?

Heh heh. But seriously, he's been snoozing for hours now. I'm thinking he must be hungry. I gave him a little water from a syringe an hour or so ago, and he zonked back out. Should I just assume he needs to sleep after being trapped in a duct for Lord only knows how long and being completely stressed out because he didn't know how he was going to get out? He would let us know if he was really hungry, right?

  • poor little bean. ?I might wake him to try to feed him. ?He's so tiny. ? ?
  • Loading the player...
  • He did eat a miniscule amount off another syringe when I gave him the water, but was really put off by it. He turned his nose up. I'll probably try again before I go to bed. Hopefully he'll at least have some more water.

  • yeah, I might just syringe feed him water and that milk substitute stuff. ?Did the vet say how old he thought he kitty is? ?He'd most likely still be nursing if he was with his mama, right? ?poor little guy is so lucky you found him!!!
  • They think he's about 3 weeks old. He still doesn't have his baby teeth. Little cutie pie! I just want to snuggle with him all night, but I'd probably crush him in my sleep, plus I don't particularly want his fleas in my bed, so that's not going to happen. He's sooooo sweet, though. He's such a weensy guy.
