I have a Britax Boulevard for my car. A Britax Marathon for DH's. I just ordered a First Years True Fit for my mom's and an Evenflo Triumph Advance for MIL. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Britax's. Yes, they are expensive but so worth it. They install like a dream and are so comfy. I just wanted something with at least a 35 lb rear facing limit. I plan to extend rear face for safety and I want something that will allow that as long as possible. I also like that my Britax's offer the ability to tether while rear facing.
i actually returned the marathon for 2 evenflo triumph advances. IMHO, the evenflo is 10x easier to use (no rethreading the shoulder straps, a knob to tighten and loosen them) and i couldn't understand why the britax cost almost double what the triumph does. i *think* the marathon may have a higher FF limit and the ability to tether RF, but that's about it (and that doesn't mater, bc i'll be moving DS to the graco nautilus when he outgrows the RF limit on the triumph -35lbs- so DC2 can move into the triumph when he/she outgrows the infant carrier).
my only complaint is that it is a massive seat, but i have one in my focus and DH has one in his civic (both compact cars) and we survive.
We have 2 Marathons, my mom also has a Marathon and so does my dad. I love them. Once I watched the videos online they were a cinch to install (without the videos I was lost). DS loves them, I have no complaints right now.

What a great bunch of seats! I am slightly jealous. DH also calls me a car seat whore. I love looking at car seats, researching ratings, features, etc. I want to buy a new seat all the time....
Britax Marathon: I love just about everything about this seat. High harness slots so it will last a long time harnessed. High back so it won't be outgrown by height early. Easy to install.
Recaro Como: It's a great seat too, and I love it, just not quite as much as the Marathon. I did get a great deal on it though. The straps a bit twisty compared to the Marathon. My daughter looks so safe in there with the head pillow and side impact wings.

Re: What convertible car seat do you have?
Evenflo Triumph Advance.
Love it. Love the strap system that's soooo easy to use!
There's nothing I hate about it. Some people say it's really big but it fits in my car no problem.

Evenflo Symphony
Love that its easy to adjust and it will grow with my DS. It is good up to 100 pounds. I don't hate anything about it at this point:)
Britax Roundabout.
Love that it was easy to install, good size for our car, looks comfy.
Hate that DD has not made the transition well and appears to miss her old carseat. She cries every time we put her in this one. I don't know why.
Marathon:
I love snapping her in and out is way easy
I don't like it seemed somewhat complicated to install and its HUGE!

I have two since I have 2 children.

ITA! And we have Cosco Scenera in DH's car-- pretty no frills, but we've had no problem with it.
