What do I need to bring baby to the beach

I can walk to the beach from my home and plan to be there a lot this summer with the baby. What do I need for her? Also my inlaws have an ingound pool and I was thinking of getting something to put her for when we are the pool. Any ideas what I should get. Thank you Jessica

  • If I lived that close I would get one of those cabana deals. You would get your money's worth being that close. I used on for DD when we went a couple weeks ago and it was perfect for nap time.?

  • i'm too jealous of walking distance to the beach and inlaws have a pool for me to answer...

but something to shade her with and find a good sun hat she can't rip off.  My biggest pet peeve is babies at the beach with no hat on.

  • raft with a shade, maybe a pop up cabana, sunscreen, hat, sun shirt, sand toys

  • We are also close to the beach so next to my door is a bag with:

    Sunscreen

    Little Swimmers

    Swimsuit

    A float

    Towel

    Bottled water

    new jar of puffs

I think thats it so far

  • we just got back from the beach and a friend of mine gave me the best idea! we brought our own very small blow up kiddie pool. we put a bit of sand at the bottom and used the ocean water and the spray showers to fill it. this kept dd from crawling all over the place and eating tons of sand. she just sits and plays in her water and the sand around her.

sunblock, shade, hat, towl, swimmy diapers, toys
