Mesh feeder thingies

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months

What goes in them? My pedi said we can start using them (esp. since J is teething and something cold in it would feel good). I think the back of the package said frozen apple? Would that be a slice of apple frozen? Or pureed frozen?

What do you put in them?

    pieces of frozen fruit, crackers (this was before DD would eat a cracker on her own)....anything really.  DD loved the frozen fruit (esp pears).  I also put unfrozen apples and orange pieces in there which she liked as well.  I wouldn't put frozen puree in the bag personally--it'd be a mess;  oh, and bananas make a huge mess and are difficult to get out of the mesh to clean.

    Dd likes frozen pedilyte (sp?), watermelon and ice chips in it.  Anything frozen is good and helps her with her teething.  She does have a love hate relationship with it.  I'm not sure why, but it makes her upset half the time.

    My sister always put ice cubs in those for her kids when they were teething, then grapes when they got older.
