We are setting up dd's big girls room tomorrow and I have a toy organizer, a little table and chairs, book shelf but nothing to organize the big pile of animals in her room. I don't have to keep them all in there- some can go into the playroom, but how do you organize your child's animals? Thanks!!
Re: What do you do with your dc's millions (ok, billions) of stuffed animals?!?!
We have a ton of them too. They fill two storage cubes in her bookshelf, most of her toybox and then we have this from Ikea. It's nice because she can actually see through it to get what she wants. It started out life as her laundry basket.
Oy. I think they must multiply in the middle of the night somehow! Ben has a ton of "special" ones--i.e., special people gave them to him, and I feel guilty giving them away. He couldn't care less about stuffed animals, though, so those are in a big, mesh toy thingy in his closet.
Emily ADORES any and all stuffed creature, and has acquired her own little menagerie in he short life. It makes it much harder to give them away when I see how she loves on them. I'm thinking of getting one or two of the toy-hammocks for her "babies", as she really DOES like them and care if they go missing.
I saw a really cool product in a magazine. It's a big bean-bag chair-style bag that you can put all the stuffed animals in and they can then use it like a bean-bag chair! I forget who makes it, but maybe someone else knows wth I'm talking about, too!
Purrf- it's by Boon. Not sure I want to spend that much on one though... it may be worth it to get them out of the way though!

We have this exact thing in our playroom--I like it but it takes up a lot of space. It holds a ton of stuffed animals...they make smaller versions (single) in different colors too.
