150mg Clomid - side effects?

I was on Clomid once before, but it was over 18 months ago and only 50mg, I had no side effects and it actually didn't help anyway. So, this cycle, my RE put me on 150mg. I'm on day 2 of my pills (CD4), and I'm wondering, do the side effects come AFTER you're done with your pills? I mean, I'm a little warm but it's also 78 degrees and sunny, and I am a little crampy now, but nothing bad like I hear of other women.

    My side effects usually start on the third day of pills.  My side effects on Clomid have always been hot flashes and headaches, but I had severe migraines on 150mg and 200mg.

    I had the clomid crazies for a bit.. Also I get such bad hot flashes.. i mean bad..

    Thanks ladies - good to know what I'm getting into. I'm not usually prone to headaches, but I certainly remember the awful hot flashes when I had hyperthyroidism, those were brutal. At least the weather gets cooler starting tomorrow.

    The only side effect I've had with Clomid is a very tender abdomen right before the O. I don't think I've had any hot flashes so far and no headaches that I've noticed.
