I gave up on wearing mine about two weeks ago because they don't fit and make my finger itch. Everyone says I should just get some cheap ring to wear for the new few months but I feel like its a waste of money. Anyone else feel the same way?
I still wear mine, but even if I didn't I wouldn't buy some cheap piece of crap just to have a ring on. What would I being trying to prove and who would I be trying to impress? Single ladies have babies everyday.
Mine still fits. When it doesn't - I plan on going to Wal Mart or Target and getting a cheap, plain band that I can wear. I just don't want the dis-approving looks I know people around here will give if I don't have one on.
If it fit I would still be wearing it. Right now I wear a cheap, fake and adjustable ring. That way, I can still pull it apart and get it off I need to, but if it breaks it doesn't matter because the ring came in a bag with about 11 others for a whopping $.99!
Yup, mine are off too. Probably about twice a week, I can get my band on, but my diamond is a no-go. I've had a naked finger for about 4 weeks now I think. It's sad, but it's alright...soon enough! I thought about getting a cheap one, but like you said, I figured it was kind of a waste and not really worth it.
I put mine on if they fit that morning (I don't wear them to bed), but I have 3 bands and usually only 1 is comfy these days. Probably won't buy a "fake" one, since it wouldn't feel right anyways I will just go bare.
yeah mine doesn't fit either. i just wear it on a necklace. i've been considering buying a cheap one to wear, but then again i only have like 6 weeks to go so it might be a total waste of money.
i gave up earlier this week...still shocked that I could go as long as I did...
even though my fingers now look and feel completely naked...i'm not bothering with another ring...
truthfully, its kinda nice to not have one on...between the rings and my belly, i always feel like i was bumping into things or snagging on things...now I only have to contend with the belly...which in my mind is much smaller than it actually is...

Mine fit great still. My SIL bought a really cute band with the babys birthstone in it and had it sized down after and wears it stacked with her wedding band now.

I'm still wearing mine but haven't had much/if any swelling. I also strangely noticed how differently ppl treat a 9 month preg woman who ISN"T wearing a wedding ring. When i forgot it at home one day I had not one customer mention the pregnancy and i got bad looks! When I wear it people ask/mention the pregnancy all the time. Just an observation I noticed.
I can still wear mine -- it's only too tight when I'm too hot, so cold water usually does the trick. If/when it does get too small in general, I have a right-hand diamond ring from DH that I can wear (it's 1/2 size larger). After that, then I think I'd just wait, though it would bother me to be ringless because I'm so used to having a ring(s) on that finger!
Nope. Had to give mine up early in 2nd tri this time around and I have a ring or two that could work but they are a bit big. So I don't bother. I told DH I'm too busy trying to find DH #2 with my current hot body and a ring would just scare him away.
Nope I had to take mine off at 28 weeks. They were too tight and leaving a big red mark on my finger. I didn't want to replace mine either because of the cost. Someone did suggest to me though to add them on to a necklace instead.
I still wear mine..it is getting tight and itchy. I lost about 40 lbs before BFP and had it resized..great timing. I think I might get to keep it on. A co-worker bought a ring at Walmart when hers was too small..we work at a coffee shop and I swear people feel like they can say anything to us. She just got tired of the 'oh poor thing, no husband, etc' I usually just get that I look like Im 15. Wearing my rings just keeps the comments behind my back instead of to my face..haha!!
I think I'm a freak because mine have become more loose since I got pregnant. I've seriously considered getting one of those ring guard things because I reach into a laundry basket and they slip off, or fall off in the middle of the night. They were never super snug before, but this is getting ridiculous. And I have small hands to begin with, lol.

I envy all of you who can still wear their rings! I miss mine terribly. I took them off last week. DH actually bought me a silver ring to wear, but my hands swell & contract so much, I can't wear that one either. I just miss wearing it. Isn't it terrible how judgemental people can be? I hadn't even thought about people wondering if I was married & pregnant or single.... People are rude. Like it matters anyway! I really wish they'd mind their own business!

Nope, I had to quit wearing both my e-ring and wedding band at about 26 weeks.
I went out and got a $5 ring at Claire's to wear when I'm out - saves me evil looks from old ladies

Windex? I hear this is the key.
