hmmm.. that's me.. do any of you new moms (congrats by the way) know a thing or two about it? i was googling and it was referring to preeclampsia/hypertention.. etc.. any thoughts?
Your doc should tell you about it if he/she's concerned.
For pre-e the cure is delivery, unfortunately. If it becomes severe enough to deliver early, I suggest you check out the preemie board - there are many women who've been through pre-e and having to deliver early (including me).
I can tell you more about my experience if you'd like, but for now the best you can do is talk to your OB before you read too much scary stuff online and raise your blood pressure! (fwiw, my son was born at 31 weeks and we have had a very good experience all around. He's now growing like crazy, happy, and healthy so no negative consequences from his early delivery.)
