Last month, I talked DH into a new mattress. We were going to need a new one soon enough, but I used my sad pregnant self as the perfect reason. It's some fancy thing with memory foam and it's worth oh, $5,000. (Fortunately, Macy's had a mattress sale when we got it.) You sink a little into the cushiness when you get into bed .... fabulous, right?
Yeah, not so much. Sleep is actually starting to be painful. I go between my back and my side, which my doctor said was fine, but rolling onto my side is such a task that I have to basically sit up and then heft myself onto my side, and I have some of that nice round ligament pain going on downtown, so that hurts, and my back hurts.
Sniff. At least I can still enjoy taking a shower.
Is anyone else finding sleep to no longer be so fun?
Re: Remember the days when sleep was comfortable?
I so miss good sleep.
I wake up every 2-3 hours like clockwork. I'm either too hot, too cold, uncomfortable or I have to pee. I guess I will just have to accept this as my new reality.
