3 day potty training? Who else

I read a previous post and explored the 3 day potty training ebook.  Before I order this....who has used it, does it work?
TIA

Re: 3 day potty training? Who else

  • We will be using it, but still have a few months. However, we have a close friend that used it right when her DD turned 2, and it worked perfectly. By the end of the 3rd day her DD was completely in panties, even at night.

  • I trained Jack back in the beginning of March using this program. I stand 100% behind it. My advice is to do the program as it is written. I feel it's the only way to really make it work.
  • I told DH about it and I think he pee'd his pants laughing! He told me there is no way he is letting his little girl run around the house with no pants on, peeing in corners. I guess that proposition was voted NO on in our house.

  • I used it... it's okay.  The principles are great, and yes, I followed it to a T, but we still have accidents.  The "three day potty training" thing, I don't think is for every kid, but I was so clueless on how to start going about PTing that I was glad to have a reference to get me started.

FWIW-- having done the 3 day thing back in Dec,  we still have the occasional accident (peed in the carseat today while napping...), and are in pullups at night.  We tried going w/out pullups for three months and I was sick and tired of washing sheets.  She is just a heavy sleeper and no amount of intervention was breaking her of that.  Our pedi said some kids will not wake up from the urge to pee until 5 (!!!).

My advice-- GET THE PIDDLE PAD FROM BRU FOR THE CARSEAT!!!!!!!!

  • I'm starting tomorrow. I ordered the guide, and am a little apprehensive about some of the techniques. We are going to do it by the book, so fingers crossed.
