PIO for IVF #1&2 - It was something like $33 a bottle and I went through a bottle a week
Prometrium for IVF #3 - close to $400 for a 4 week supply
At the time I thought the cost of the suppositories was worth it to avoid the shots, but no - it is gross and I need to do them 3x a day. If there is a next time I am going back to PIO
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I am on Endometrin suppositories (100mg 2x per day). I have insurance coverage so they are only $40 for the month. But the bag from the pharmacy says it would be around $400 for the month OOP.
I use PIO as well. I'm not sure what the OOP cost is but I think it's in the ballpark Krissy mentioned. The shots aren't the most fun things in the world, but I've heard a lot of ladies say that they are much more convenient than the suppositories. For the most part the shots don't bother me too much.
