Re: How long after the birth of your LO

  • I still have to wear mine, but I'm slowly getting back into non-maternity pants.

  • Up until yesterday, only because I gave in a bought a bigger size of real jeans. My pre-preg don't fit yet

  • I actually didnt wear them b/c I was so sick of them!  I just bought some sexy sweats that I wore for two months straight.  My DH is one lucky guy.

  • about a month, then I caved and bought bigger regular pants
  • AT 3 weeks I was on a mission to find nonmaternity pants. ?It took alot of looking but I found them so up until 3 weeks. ?I sometimes wear my maternity jeans though if the clothes are dirty and I'm just running errands.
  • Probably until about 6 or 7 weeks. They were just so much more comfy than my pre-maternity clothes, especially the jeans. I say wear them as long as you want!
  • Probably 3 weeks full time and up to 6 weeks before I was strictly in pre preg pants.  It I wore tight pants for the first 6 weeks I would get a ton of pressure in my lady bits.
  • Until about 5 or 6 weeks, I think.  And my regular pants were a bit tight at first.

  • i still am, even though I could probably just go buy some regular ones one size bigger.  i'm pretty sure my hips are forever wider.

That's what I did.  Although I think it was more like 2 months for me.

  • 3 weeks. ?then i bit the bullet and bought some pants in larger sizes. ?
  • I didn't have to.  Once the baby was out my tummy was almost all gone so I could put my regular jeans on.
  • 4 weeks and then I tried putting on my pre pregancy pants and they where huge on me

  • I hated maternity clothing and was so sick of it by the time that DD was born, that I didn't wear any of my maternity clothes after she was born.  I got by with some yoga pants & sweats until my normal pants fit again.  I was able to wear my old jeans about a week and a half PP.
  • I'm still in mine for work. I'm hoping to get some non-mat pants this weekend.
  • I'll be honest. I was in reg. jeans right away. I didn't wear Maternity pants really until my last 3 months. I know, I suck.

  • I was on bedrest towards the end which put me in sweat pants.  I am finally fitting BACK into maternity pants and shirts.  So...I am at least happy about that!  Will probably be a month until I am out of those.
  • i got into my prepreg jeans at about 10 weeks, but they have a bit of stretch in them. i'm still not in my prepreg work pants. luckily i have some older dress pants from back when i was much heavier, so i'm wearing them still. i have 8 pounds to lose still.
  • i am wearing mine right now
  • Well, I barely wore maternity pants as it was, but when DS was a month old, I went out to buy a new pair of jeans because the 1 pair of maternity pants I owned were too big, and I was still to big for my pre-pregnancy jeans.

However, I still spend the majority of my time in sweats/pajama pants, if that makes you feel better.  They are just way more comfortable to hang out in.

  • I can only wear my pre-prg fat pants...not the normal ones yet!  I was still wearing maternity pants...but I'm packing them up for storage.  I think only being able to wear about three pairs of pants that fit will help motivate me!
  • I bought some new regular pants, but still wear maternity as well.
  • I was able to wear my old clothes about 3 days after Lily was born.  However, I only made it to 34 weeks, 4 days so I didn't have that extra 5+ weeks when the baby (and me!) would have really grown!!

  • a couple of wks then i broke down and bought a size bigger in regular jeans
  • I don't wear any except the one pair of pricey maternity jeans I bought.  Jeans are one of my vices, and I spent so much on these that I will wear them as long as I can!
  • still wearing mine!

  • Mine were too big about a week or two after. I did buy a cheap pair of jeans at old navy that were 2 sizes bigger then my usuall. They are currently the only ones that fit me, BUT I have to wear a belt now!
