how has pregnancy been...with #2 and with older dc?
This pregnancy so far has been identical to my first - very easy! I have a lot more pain in my hips and back though which I attribute to the fact that DS is not walking yet. I am constantly lugging around a 26-pound weight. This pregnancy has gone by much faster because I don't have much time to think about it. I also don't even notice if the baby's kicking unless I intentionally sit down to feel it.
# 2 due in Oct, the pregnancy has been pretty good and honestly, I don't think I notice since I am so busy with DS. I did have to lay on the couch a few times while DS played with toys on the floor. I am very lucky though and I only got sick a few times, not too bad. I took a nap when he did a few days too, now I am in the 2nd Tri and don't feel movement yet, so I forget that I am pregnant most of the time!
This pregnancy has been completely opposite from DS. I have been pretty uncomfortable and even have told DH that I don't think I ever want to be pregnant again. The good thing is that things have gotten better.
This pregnancy has been tougher than my first. DD is still having sleeping issues off and on (not sttn). So I'm not getting as much rest. And since I'm SAHM and busy chasing her all day, my diet is not as good as when I was working and had easy access to healthier foods (at our cafeteria).
I am due in July but they think I'll go in June. It a lot harder this time around. Carrying him around while 7 months pregnant, working 45 hours a week, getting a cold wipes me out and like pp said I dont feel like my diet is as good with her as it was with DS. I eat what I can when I can. Usually lunch is the best meal of the day for me since I am at work and I can take my time to eat.
I'm due in November. So far it hasn't been too bad. A little morning sickness and very tired but I think being so tired is part of being pregnant and part chasing a 1 year old!
Due end of May/beginning of June with #2. DS is 13 mo., walking, and cutting teeth like crazy. We are trying to get him back to STTN and also trying to get him weaned from the bottle before DC#2 arrives. DS was such an easy pregnancy, but this one has been more difficult. I am in the chiropractor's office twice a week now for basic alignments, but I have also developed sciatica which they really can't do anything about. I'm am definitely in countdown mode!
I am due in July with #2 and so far this pregnancy has been WAY harder and very different in general.
DS was a dream pregnancy - no nausea, sickness or issues at all. I felt so nauseous in the beginning with this one. My symptoms were totally different. I have also been sick a few times, whereas with DS I had some kind of weird pregnancy immunity from germs. I felt great and worked out right up until the end
Now I am completely wiped out by the end of the day from running around after DS. Picking him up takes a lot of effort (he's a chunker at 25 lbs)
