Hi-
I am about 20 weeks pregnant and totally lost! I have been so busy with work that I haven't been able to read all of the myriad books and magazines on my night stand. I am worried that I am behind in the baby game. Should I register soon, take any classes? Anyone in the same boat??
Re: Anyone else lost?
Hi
I'm feeling the same way. ?I have read a couple of books, but it's too overwhelming. ?I've been talking to all my friends who have children for advice. ?I'm going to register at about 6.5 months, shower at 7-8 month. ?I haven't taken any classes. ?My girlfriends tell me the classes are a waste of time, but something I will do anyway. ?I will be looking into that in the next month.
?Hang in there...?
Hey there -
I'm 17 weeks and in the same boat. I'm DEFINITELY going to take classes and I think the biggest thing is just to relax. You still have time to catch up on everything, but I definitely get it.
I'm more nervous now about whats going to happen after than I am on what's going on in my body right now... Hopefully a few classes on what to do and we'll all feel a little bit calmer.
I think I'm going to start registering at about 5 months (once i find out what "flavor" it is :-)) and then just kind of set small goals for myself between now and delivery time. I'm really not trying to stress myself out but it's HARD.
Take a prenatal yoga class too :-)
Mary Birch has tons of classes that they offer, even a crash course on childcare and birth that you can take in a weekend... Think of it like cramming for an exam... :-)
