So excited about our new neighbors!!

Yes, I'm so excited about it that I had to post! :D In our current house, where we've been for 4 years, no one ever came over to introduce themselves. We know 2 of our neighbors and have never met/spoken to 4 of them (we're in a cul de sac). Then there's the one at the end of the street who can't bother to ever smile or wave back at us when we're walking by and say hi or whatever..Confused

We just closed on our new house a little over a week ago but we're doing a lot of work on the inside before moving in (probably moving in 5ish weeks). Today we were dropping off some stuff and 2 neighbors already came by to introduce themselves!! Both were super super nice, and one even invited us over for drinks once we're settled in! And the ones who invited us over have kids (2 and 4) which is another thing our old neighborhood lacked! I'm so excited about our new friendly neighbors!!!!!

TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

    That is SO exciting! We have the suckiest neighbors ever (on both sides AND across the street) and we're in the process of selling/moving. I hope we're as lucky as you! :)

    PS: I need to add that we do have one set of good neighbors across the street, but they're outnumbered by all the sucky ones :(

    That's great!  I imagine having good neighbors will help to make your new house feel like home in no time :)

    We lived in our condo for five years and other than one guy down the hall, no one ever showed any interest in being friendly.  I hope that when we move into our new house we have some good neighbors too!

    That is good, we were nervous about our neighbors when we first moved in, but we ended up really liking them.  They are like 6 years older than us and have a 5 year old son who is adorable!  He actually makes himself right at home in our house and walks in on his own now!  Good neighbors are exciting!
