Funny - How IF changes your perspective

So, I had to go to the pharmacy to get some prescriptions filled - nothing big, just regular stuff (TMI - I have a yeast infection - yay!)- and I knew we had completely used all of our Flexible Spending Account money in January on injectibles so I knew I was going to have to pay out of pocket for these prescriptions.

I go to pick them up with my CC in hand, thinking it would be around $100, maybe $150.  The total $16.30 - for THREE prescriptions.  I was totally flabbergasted,  I came home and told my DH - I felt like I had gotten such a good deal!

  • LOL  that is funny.  It is crazy how much IF costs and we don't realize the rest.  Well... I hope this clears up your problem!!

  • I hear ya.  I have spent over $500 in b/w and u/s this week already with at least one more to go tomorrow.  That isn't any of the meds either.  Any time I go to the pharmacy or the quack and I pay less than $150 I feel like I have gotten a deal!

I was joking with one of the nurses at my RE's office the other day about getting one of those bonus cards like they have at Safeway or CVS.  Every week or so they can have a buy one get one free deal on u/s or something.   Or b/w 30% off on tuesdays for veteran IF'ers!

    She thought it was funny.

  • Lol!  So true Stick out tongue
