I'm with you! You are certainly not alone. I quit weighing because it was SO depressing. I am focusing on after and thinking positively that it will melt away just as quickly as it went on. Besides you look absolutely amazing!

I'm so glad I'm not alone! I gained 5 lbs after going off the pill and since then have gained 50 lbs. Though, its finally slowed -- I think -- in 3 weeks I gained 2 lbs at my last appointment. That said, there's no guarantee you'll lose weight right after baby. I was born at 8.2 lbs and my mom weighed 3 lbs more after delivery because she had so much fluid in her. "Don't weigh yourself for a week or two. Definitely don't do it right after delivery."
We're due the same day and I'm right there with you. I've had some bad days where I ate everything in sight, but for the most part, I've kept it in check.
Ladies - I need advice. I am 29 weeks PG and had a starting weight of 250 (alot I know, but I dont think I look it plus I am very muscular). Well so far, I have only gained 13 lbs and doc was really harsh on me (kind of mean too). Does this sound like a lot of weight for being 29 wks? I don't think so.....I just really think I have a weight nazi doctor.
Don't worry, it will come off fast. ?I was down 20 lbs already the day I got home from the hospital.
?
I've gained more this pregnancy, so I hope it comes off faster this time! ?But, I promise, it does come off, even though the last 5-8 pounds can be hard to ?lose.?
Sorry but the weight gain doesn't always slow down at the end. I gained 3lbs from Thursday to Monday. The nurse just gave me a look but didn't say anything.

From what I've read, the more you weigh before pregnancy, the less you should gain during; the less you weigh before pregnancy the more you should gain. It's all about your body being able to sustain the baby. Thinner people have less "reserves" to depend on : )?

Right, but I dont feel like 13lbs is alot at this point in time. I understand I will gain more, but hopefully not too much more. I am shooting for 20lbs or under by end of PG. Wish me luck!
Well.. I saw your belly dancing video! You were a tiny little thing! I was tiny when I got pregnant with my first daughter and ended up gaining 57 lbs. I lost it all. It took about a full year ( I breastfed and kept some weight on), but it all came off. You will bounce back. Try not to stress!
Re: Ok I'm going to do it. Weight vent.

I'm sure you look wonderful nonetheless.
You look like you were teeny tiny to begin with so maybe you needed to gain that much? It'll come right back off. I've gained a lot too.

Okay, I will play.
I have gained 45lbs. It will be one healthy baby.

I am fully prepared to work hard after the baby!
You are little. The skinner you are the more you will gain.
I still had 15 lbs. to lose from first baby so for me it never melted off but I am older too. This time I haven't gained as much... yet.
