...of all the things we're told about pregnancy, (morning sickness, weight gain, etc) what are some of the things you never heard and wish you had fair warning about?
I wish I knew about the groin stiffness & pain. It's brutal getting out of bed sometimes.

Rib pain...I never knew a little foot or hand wedged up in there could hurt so much!
Oh, and calf pain...charlie horses occur for me way too regularly.
Beyond stuffy nose, Constant burping, and the wonderful Mucus plug loss.... that is to come!

charlie horses, how weird and uncomfortable sex feels, that no matter how well I eat or how much I work out - the weight will come on as my body sees fit, morning sickness = all the time sickness and comes back in 3rd tri
I agree with all the other stuff but it wouldn't make me do anything differently. My biggest surprise has been the rib pain.
I wish I knew early on that maternity clothes (of the same size) do not all fit the same the further you go along. I bought a bunch of summer mat clothes on clearance early on thinking I could wear them this spring and they barely cover my tummy. Lessons learned!
