re: money and cheap spouses.

how do you LIVE with someone who micromanages your every dollar? Being responsible about the finances is one thing, but freaking out over 5 dollars (re impatientgirls post below) is a wholeeee other level. I have seen lots of other posts in the same vein and it makes me cringe.  i could never have married a cheap-o!

  • Maybe they arent cheap but making ends meet means being that way.  Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

this is the exception, i am ONLY referring to people who have money, but are tightwads lol

  • i agree but then again my dh sends 200 a month to mexico so 5  dollars isn't that big a deal.
  • i date this guy once, he was a broker on wall street.  made ungodly amounts of money.  insisted we "go dutch" on every date we had..... fcuk off dude!
  • It's not easy I can tell you that. Luckily he has other more redeeming qualities. But it is very frustrating!!!!! I feel there is more to life than worrying over every nickel and dime.

I've been trying. But his response is "well, that's what's fair." He doesn't feel it's "fair" to pay for my expenses, however much they cost. I don't know what else to say to him.
