Oh, I got a white onsie with yellow set in stains down the front of it. I'm sure it was used they had it on a little hanger and everything and packaged it like it was brand new!
Mine was a stained blanket and a crochet outfit from the 1970's. My MIL said they were DH's items, and while that is a nice thought she didn't buy us anything new or anything we could use. DH was irritated too by the gifts. Then we find out she bought her BF's kids new clothes the same weekend.
I got clothes from H's aunt that were obviously bought from the salvation army or a garage sale. They looked like they were probably 15 years old and REALLY stained and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.
I can honestly say that I loved every single thing I got. Im guessing my friends and family just know my taste! I feel very lucky. I only took a couple things back because of duplicates!
A gift bag with a bunch of stuff from the dollar store and a premie baby outfit. If I didn't take the tags off the premie outfit I would have sent it to my cousin who just had their baby 2.5 months early.
I've gotten a couple if crocheted blankets and one pillow. They are so sweet but totally not my style. So not crappy per se. I really appreciate the hard work that went into them.
Someone made us a blanket but it smells like cigarette smoke and it's covered in cat hair. The woman is a friggin chimney and never opens the windows in her house, or vacuums/dusts. It's gross. You'd think she would have run it though the wash before giving it to us!

Even though you took the tags off I'm sure your cousin wouldn't mind! Just tell her you got it and can't use it. I think it'd be different if you were re-gifting it as opposed to "passing it along" ya know?
Nothing crappy, but I did get a MILLION burp cloths (I returned 5 packages and still had some left) and this really weird blanket thing. It says it's a footed blanket, so it has feet in it and zips up or something.... not sure. I kept it beause it's soft.
Also, because we're team green, everyone on my side of the family went to Target and bought the SAME burp cloths, onesies and sleepers. So I had about a million of the same thing. One or two things off my registry, and the people who didn't shop off my registry aren't even creative enough to buy random stuff!
My older sister is pregnant too and she's having a girl so all the girly pooh outfits and other girly things I'm sending to her... I have a huge box full of stuff! I got two bouncer seats at my shower and I gave her one of those too!!! She's so lucky! lol
I didn't get it at the shower becuase it wasn't finished...but MIL warned me that her mom (dh's grandma who is 89) is having us made a crocheted cape for DS....MIL said she tried and tried to get her to just buy something off our registry but Grandma was adament (sp?) about the cape...I asked DH if we could have the Superman S put on it!! haha
I didn't really get anything that was crappy but DH's cousin gave us 9 month size summer clothes.....um hello....she will be 9 months old in February! Some people don't use their brains....seriously!

Me too!
Me too, but I got lots of duplicates (3-4), I am not sure how that happened because some of the stuff is from my registry. ???
It's so funny, I went to the san diego zoo last week, and I saw at least 5 kids with the monkey harness - I guess this is the modern version of those leaches they had when I was a kid that attach to the child's wrist??
I got a halloween outfit from my MIL. I'm sure she bought it on clearance just in case she would have someone to give it too...oh and she also gave us a snowsuit to fit a 12m, and our baby will only be 9 months in the winter. DH was totally annoyed! She did give us other stuff that we needed too, but what the heck?!?
A PINK winnie the pooh blanket...we're having a boy! and the person knew it..i mean...she also gave us a boy outfit...i was so embarassed by the blanket i only showed half of it and kept the other half with mostly pink inside the bag!
A PINK Amy Coe lamp. ... we're not finding out the sex.
I went to return the lamp from BRU and found out all the Amy Coe stuff was 75% off, which is probably why this person bought the lamp. heh
I dont mind putting a baby girl in blue outfits, but I dont plan on putting a baby boy in pink outfits. We actually ended up with a couple pink outfits. Eh, oh well. Luckily, if we end up with a boy, I have a good friend who is having a girl and can use the pink girl outfits.
My cousins gf bought me a diaper wreath, that her friend made ... and then at the shower told me how much it cost and asked if I wanted one for anyone. BUT when I got home I noticed the dumba$$ hot glued everything together, All the diapers and shampoos were a waste... obviously made by a moron.
Re: name your crappy shower gift...
DH's aunt bought baby a onesie that says My First Easter on it.
Umm, Easter was April 12 and our baby isn't due until May 14. WTF?
Me too!

I got this fugly Roca Wear outfit and a book with a TJMaxx that was 99cents.
My cheap a$$ cousin could have kept her 10 bucks. Seriously.

You say that now.
