?'s about baby feet/shoes

How fast do baby feet grow at about 15 months?

How much room should there be between the big toe and the shoe?

DD isnt walking by herself yet but does take a few steps once in awhile.. I figured it was time to get her some real shoes instead of Robeez but I am so confused!

A size 5 fits her with about a cm of room at the end... a size 6 seems to have about 1 1/4 inches at the end and when DD walks she constantly trips over her toes..

We got a pair of Nike Running Shoes (we were thinking of Puma but these Nike are really light!). I had her wear them around the house for about 20min.. she tried to get them off most of the time and then I took them off her... it looked like her toes were a bit red..

Now I dont know if I should take them back, get the size 6 and have her wear the Robeez (slipper kind) until the size 6 fit her.....

    I put shoes on my boys that are the sizes that I'd wear if I were them. I have a little bit of space at the toe just like I'd prefer.

    I'd assume that the Nike's were too small and get the larger size.

    You should probably take her to a store like Stride Right and have her sized.  I would have had no clue for my daughter if we hadn't gotten her measured.
