So I have been reading some posts about Etsy.com. ?Who has been successful with it? ?How many items per week/month do you sell? ?How long have been selling on Etsy?
I am looking into getting started with them but I am unsure if it is worth it.
TIA?

i just started and already have 1 sale for a baby mobile. it only costs .20 to list an item so, you could try and see what your feedback is like. the biggest thing i have noticed sells product is excellent pictures. GL!
I do etsy and think it is worth it, but I dont think of it as regular income. I.ve been on there for almost 6 months and have been able to sell pretty well, but it did take a couple weeks to really get going regularly! HTH

Like a pp said, it's cheap to list an item so you can always just give it a shot. I've sold some things, but like another poster said, it's not exactly steady income.
I started my etsy shop (www.aliciapretends.etsy.com) in March and I have made 4 sales. I am happy with that and I am having fun as well.
I do have to get working on finishing up the other kits I have in progress and get them listed.
Also, you do have to be proactive when it comes to promoting your shop. There is such a high volume that you can't depend on your item being on the top of the list, or even the first catagory page, for very long.
i opened a shop a few weeks ago after i helped my mom open a shop. i look at it as a fun way to have a creative outlet. i only really hope to make enough to pay for my supplies and a little extra to buy new supplies here and there. i mean, i'd love to make more but i don't think it's realistic. i will say that setting up a shop can be very involved, there are a lot of details and like pp said, you have to be very proactive. i've had two sales, but to people i know. i'm still in the process of adding inventory. everything takes so much longer with a baby in the house!!! you have to do a lot of promoting. all of that said, i'm enjoying it for the time being. i had a very high pressured job and i still haven't gotten used to giving that up to sah. etsy sort of helps in that way.
