between old GP & new GP?

I am curious, you see...only because we have this discussion regularly on BOTB.

Is new GP comprised of people that weren't granted entry into the Fort?

    I think the majority of the people on GP have no clue what the fort was or what went down.  I was only lurking when it all hit the fan.  I think just like BOTB there are new girls coming everyday and it changes the composition of the board with each new wave.  We still have some people who were here then, but the majority are new and haven't a clue.

    Yeah, but it's also a whole bunch of new people.

    You know, I think most of the girls on GP don't know what The Fort is and if they do, they weren't here when it happened. They heard about it by word of mouth like an old family legend that is told and re-told around the campfire, like Twy Sentwa and IUD BFP.

    And I agree with FK that GP has a higher doucheface tolerance now than in the days of yore.

    The thing is, no one ever bothers to name names and tell everyone who the AEs are or who should be avoided. Additionally, even if you did, there are so many people that join daily, it would take an army to keep telling the new people what's up.

    LOL I don't think it's AEs, we just rarely come out to play from the Fort unless its something newsworthy. Nobody recognizes us anymore.

    I did think that when Mooeta made an AE not long ago that was horrible to everyone and extremely offensive, yet she came out and said that she was said AE and everyone coddled and let her back in without question, that was pretty douchetastic.

    Let's not forget that when MrsH called out SNM and asked her if she'd apologize to BOTB for the Suicide wish, the GP girls were outraged and said the H in her screenname meant "heartless." LOL.

    I don't know about you, but a suicide wish complete with instructions = heartless.

    Asking if someone is going to apologize for said wish =/= heartless.

    You know, I wasn't there when this went down, I maybe I'd feel differently if I had been duped...but the way I see it, there is a fundamental difference between the two AEs in question; one owned up and apologized, the other didn't.

    I pretty much just targeted FMT, and while I won't ever regain all of the trust that was lost because of it, it was the right thing to do to come out and take the heat when others were being blamed.  It was the biggest douchebag move ever and I owned up to it.  If you have a problem with that then that's fine, you can think I'm a douche and I'm ok with that.   I guess I am lucky that GP is diet BOTB.
