I'm in college for the second time. I just changed my major to biology in secondary education. (I was elementary edu. before that, but hadn't taken any specific classes for it. The first time I went to college, I was an agricultural education major and DID take a bunch of ag. classes). Anyway, I was looking at the requirements for my new major tonight and kind of plotting out a game plan. I don't want to go back to work full-time until my kid(s) are in school, so it's going to work out perfectly, but still. I'm looking at 5+ years of school ahead of me. I put in 3 1/2 years my first go. Ack! Plus, I'll be attending a private college once I enter the teacher education program. $$$$ ! They have a lot of scholarships available, so it may end up being less than what I was planning in the first place, but sheesh. Oh, how I wish I'd done it right the first time around. Older and wiser, right?
