QOTD: Does June seem close or far away? Have you had your shower yet? If so, what was your favorite gift?

June seems far. My technical due date was moved to May, and now that it's April, that seems really close. I have to keep reminding DH as he makes plans that they may or may not happen if I end up being in labor. No shower for me that I know of. This is my second... Seems close, but yet I am impatient at the same time, so that makes it seem far away...ask me again in a few weeks and my response will likely be much different. lol

My shower is Sunday. I'm sooo excited. So far only 1 thing has been purchased off of my registry, and I think it's going to stay that way. If anyone is thinking about Walmart, forget it. Everytime I log-in I have had something wrong with my registry. I just said screw it now...

BUT anyways...despite that, I am still excited. People have already been so gracious. Just about everyone is coming (50 invites were sent out). And those who aren't able to make it, they've sent money or a gift.

My showers are on the 25th and 2nd. So far only 4 items have been purchased, but my mom gave us money to pick up our fisher price natures touch swing and we love it so far!!

even though i'm not due till the end of june it seems like it's pretty close - i think it's because i have a lot of things to do in the following weeks: buy things i still have left on my registry, clean baby clothes, deep clean the house and put things away, make sure the dogs are groomed, pack the hospital bag, take our baby classes, start my doctor appts every two weeks then every week. ?i'm exasperated already! ?fortunately i already pre-registered at the hospital and signed up for rooming in. ?i'm going to choose our pediatrician tomorrow. ?it's too surreal!

and i already had my shower. ?it was a total surprise and i got so many things i loved. ?my favorites were the dwell studio boppy i got with little birds on it, all the cute carters outfits and the coffee mugs that say "new mommy" and "new daddy." ?we'll be needing those lol! ?

It seems too close. It's only 7 weeks away. Crazy part is...I will have a daughter in 11 weeks.

No, not until I'm 34 weeks. I still have 5 weeks to go

If so, what was your favorite gift?

From what I know already without the shower - probably my Orbit Baby Stroller thanks to my mom. She wants her grandbaby to have the best of everything OR the nursery furniture, also from grandma.

June seems so close..yet the weather here in Wisconsin says otherwise!

I can't believe my EDD is 60 days away already! I can't wait for this LO to arrive.

Haven't had my shower. It's on May 9th. I hope people will make it since it's the Saturday before Mother's Day. Can't wait to see the crazy stuff my nutty family will buy....not off the registry of course!

June still seams far away in some ways, as it is still so freakin cold hear. But when I think of it only being 7 weeks away (June 1 and my due date!) then it really seems close.

My shower will be on April 25th, looking forward to it. I also think there will be a surprise one at work sometime.

june seems really close to me! my due date is now less than two months away! compared to the 7 months i've already been pregnant, two months is nothing.

my showers are the 26th of april and the 3rd of may. i'm so excited about them! i noticed today that there are finally things purchased from the registry!

my favorite gift so far is our chicco travel system from MIL...although it isn't here yet.

Even though my EDD is June 9th, I won't make it. My doctor's won't let me go past 38 weeks. So May is very close for me. Tongue Tied

I have no favorite gift from my shower because I haven't had mine yet. I have 2 more weeks to go for that.

My original due date is June 15th. I am new to the bump. No shower for me, I don't have any family here. It seems s bit far away, and not at the same time. We don't have anything set up bc we are in the process of moving, but won't be in the new home unitl may 24th.
