    We went to visit my mom, who didn't know because we wanted to tell her in person.  Got there Friday, gave her a "gift", a bib that says "I love my Nana".  She hugged us and said congrats, kinda strangely.  I then found out that she was honestly pissed that I didn't call her the week before as soon as I found out.  She can't believe she's the last to know.  Ugh, can't please them all.  Thought it would be fun in person, how wrong I was...

    We told DH's parents on Thursday and my parents on Saturday!  We wanted to wait until Sunday but we were too excited!

    Weekend was good. ?It was the first time that I was able to see my Mom since we got our BFP, so it was a great opportunity to sit down and talk with her. ?Kept the news from the other family members and close friends because we would like to wait until after the first u/s.

    We wanted to tell family but my brother and SIL had their little one and we didn't want to steal the thunder. We're planning on telling on Mother's Day.

    We picked up my step-kids on Thursday night for the holiday weekend and we told them. They were so excited. We had already told my daughter since she lives with us.

    DH told his grandma this weekend.  The rest of the family already knows.  We are waiting to tell everyone else until after our u/s next week.

    we told my ILs this weekend. They were SO excited :) We told my parents the day before and are telling everyone else after the first ultrasound!

    We were with my family and they already knew!  But if they didn't, they would have figured it out anyway from how sick I was!!!  AAAACK!  :o)

    We told my parents this weekend.  They both cried!  I was kind of expecting my dad to cry, but not my mom.  It was fun, they had no clue! Big Smile

    My family already knew but we told a close family friend at dinner on Easter and she was so excited!  It was really fun to talk about it with my family.   My dad even prayed for the baby during grace - how sweet!  Today I had my fisrt bad experience with morning sickness.  It lasted from 10am to 4pm...uggg.

    The nausea has begun today. I am so thankful to be a teacher on Spring Break! I don't know what I'll do once I have to start teaching again!

    I told my parents when we first found out, and I called and told my Grandma on Easter Sunday. She was so happy and said "oh, I didn't know if I was going to make it to see another great grandchild!" (She only has 1 so far!) I'm trying to be patient and waiting until Nate is ready to tell his family, but if it were up to me, we would have told them Easter weekend!! Everyone has such cute stories about how they told, but ours will have to be over the phone, because we're on the other side of the world until August, and I simply can't wait that long to tell!!!
