I will be expecting my little one in September and have started looking into daycare. ?I know it's pricey so I wanted to do my research! ?Does anyone out there have any recommendations?? Thanks ?
first, congrats! I live in this area and did my research a little over a year ago so hope this helps!
I checked out 3 of the Bright Horizons (Seaport, Moakley Court House & Beacon Hill), KinderCare in the North End, and the one on Berkeley right before you get into the South End. I can remember the name of it- but it?s on the No.9 Bus route. There is also a place in Dorchester (right off Morrissey Blvd) called Small Wonders that is new and supposed to be good.
I like the BH places the best because it was the most professional scene. The waiting lists will scare you when you go to check it out but just to let you know- they always seems to magically have a spot for you when you need it...and are willing to put the massive down payment deposit down!
It was my experience that there were NO reputable inhome day cares in the area.

Good luck!
Thank you! I work on Morrissey Blvd, and desperately needed this info!
