  Sweet Lorraines has a reasonably priced private room.  It is located on 12 mile and Greenfield.  Most of the other places I can think of are much more expensive.

  My girlfriend had hers at the Papa Vino's at 15 Mile and Coolidge in Troy and it was a nice small private room.

  We had ours at the Rochester Community House.  We catered in, and they provided the linens, tables, and chairs.  It is in a BEAUTIFUL setting, no matter the season, and was just a really nice place to have a shower.  We actually liked it so much for our baby shower that my brother and his wife ended up having their engagement party there...in that case my mom did the cooking/etc...but they have a kitchen, so it was not a big deal and saved them tons of money.  It's off of Ludlow, which can be gotten to from either University or Rochester Road just north of downtown Rochester, which isn't too far from your parameters.

  My most favorite restaraunt in the world, Marinelli's on Rochester Rd. in Troy. We had my and my sister's wedding shower there and i might be having my baby shower there too. I had 30 people and there was way more room for more. I was about $250 for pop,pizza,breadsticks and salad for everyone. You can change the menu to your liking give or take some money. The waitstaff was awsome too! GL
