Re: Any legitimate "work from home" jobs?

  • Hello, If you get a chance, browse through some of the posts on the next 1-2 pages or so and you'll find several posts talking about the same topic. There are a lot of great ideas on here.

I think there are several of us who work from home doing a variety of things. Some work for other companies and some have their own business. I rent 7 foot tall personalized lawn storks to announce the birth of new babies (and other signs for children's bdays). I make $85 per rental and rent around 20+ a month. It's not a massive amount of money, but it's a great, low stress, fun job. It's so nice to be able to be home with my kids and still make money.

It's always a good idea to research the company first (google search, Better Business Bureau, references etc..)

Good luck! I hope you find what you're looking for! There are tons of great ideas and helpful people on here! :)

  • I'm a photographer, I work mainly at home unless I have a weekend shoot.
  • Are you crafty at all? You could open up your own little shop on www.etsy.com! My sister makes hair pins on there and I know people that make cute baby things. :]

  • Yes, you could do ChaCha. It's a service where you answer questions that people text in (you receive them on your computer). It's not much money (ranges from $3-9/hr), but you work whenever you want, for however long you want and with no set schedule. PM me and I can give you more info.?
  • This is not spam. I promise. I'm a mom from Kentucky who is just trying to help other mom's who are looking to make money while they stay home with their children (like me). I am due in September and the thought of daycare scares me to death, not to mention the cost. I do this business partime right now, because I do have a full time job and have to keep it until the baby comes (for insurance purposes). This is the only WAH business that I have seen that is not a scam. I even looked them up in the BBB and found they have a grade "A" with them. It doesn't get much better than that. I didn't want to sell things or collect money and store inventory. So this is the perfect WAH business that i have found. I just wanted to share how great this company is for mom's who are seriously looking to make money.
